Welcome to KC Classic Auto, a locally owned and operated family business.

The first chapter began on July 1st, 1986 when the original owner and founder, Dick Gruber, opened the doors to KC Classic Auto Display, mostly as a car storage and consignment sales facility.

The second chapter began in 2002 when Kim Eldred and Tom Minnick purchased the business from The Gruber family, after Kim had been working with Dick for 10 years, and operated under the name KC Classic Auto Display and Museum, Inc.

In the fall of 2022, brothers Adam and Brad Berman got word that Kim was planning on retiring and closing the doors to the business. This was very disappointing news for them considering the business had been a part of their lives for close to 30 years, as both of them worked for Dick and Kim at various points and considered the business a staple in the car community of Kansas City.

This brings us to the third chapter, which began in November of 2022, when the Berman brothers agreed to purchase the business from Kim and formed KC Classic Auto, LLC, and took over on December 1st, 2022. From its opening, KC Classic Auto has earned an amazing reputation for being one of the biggest and highest quality classic car dealerships in the Midwest. Using their passion for all vehicles and commitment to excellence, The Berman brothers will work every day to maintain the reputation the business has been founded on. They believe in fair prices, honesty, and treating customers the way they would want to be treated.
