KC Classic Auto is proud to present this GORGEOUS 1970 Chevelle SS, A.K.A. Gilda!
Over $25,000 in receipts for work done over the past 3 years, a STEAL at this price!! Comes with the original owner’s manual.
Refinished in a stunning Gold metallic with Black stripes. Believed to have been painted around 20 years ago, it is in great shape for its age! According to the cowl tag, it was a special-order paint car from the factory, so the original color is unknown.
Restored Black vinyl interior with bucket seats and a console! The door panels, carpet and seat foam were replaced less than 5 years ago. The console/horseshoe shifter, instrument bezel and the rest of the interior is in excellent condition as well. It has the correct factory gauges with tach in dash, as well as Autometer Cobalt oil pressure and water temperature gauges in an A-pilar gauge pod. Tilt steering column with a walnut deluxe steering wheel. Kenwood CD player hidden in the glove box, as well as Kenwood 6”x9” speakers in back.
Powered by a BUILT 454ci big block V8! In December 2023, the engine was professionally rebuilt by a local performance shop and only has around 1,000 miles on it since. It has forged internals, h-beam rods, LS-6 big port heads, Edelbrock Victor Jr intake manifold (powder coated to match body), a Holley 850cfm carburetor, and MORE!
Power steering, power brakes (front slotted and cross drilled discs), large aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It also has a black billet CVF Racing serpentine pulley system, which includes a black high output alternator, black power steering reservoir, and black billet pullies. A few months ago, MSD ignition was installed, including digital 6AL ignition box with rev control, Blaster 2 ignition coil, Pro-Billet distributor, and MSD wires.
Power is sent to the ground with a rebuilt TH400 automatic transmission, and a date correct 12-bolt rear end that’s been upgraded with a positraction differential and 3.73 gears. Originally an F41 suspension car (included sway bars and boxed control arms), it now has upgraded UMI sway bars and control arms, new end links, Bilstein shocks in front, and air shocks in back.
This Chevelle sounds MEAN with its ceramic coated Hooker long tube headers and 3” Flowmaster exhaust. It also has custom color changing halo LED headlights, a functional cowl hood, and a custom carpeted trunk finishing kit with hidden storage compartment.
Earlier this year, around $4,000 was spent on a set of new 20” Weld Belmont wheels with Nitto 235/35/20 tires on front and 305/35/20 on back.
A lot of time and money was spent creating this beautifully restored Chevelle, don’t miss this opportunity!
