One of the nicest ’69 Camaros we have ever seen! A comprehensive, no expense spared, complete nut and bolt, frame off restoration was completed in 2014, with just over 3200 miles since completion. Two binders full of receipts for the build will be included!!
Refinished in GORGEOUS Black, with satin black trim and bumpers. During the restoration, the hood, trunk lid, fenders, quarter panels, and floors were replaced. It also received all new glass, weatherstripping, and window felts. The door handles, locks, and billet mirrors have also been blacked out.
Sound deadening material was added throughout the vehicle, along with ALL NEW interior! Everything was replaced during the restoration including the carpet, handles, knobs, headliner, dash pad, visors, seat belts, console, door panels, etc! It also has a power window conversion kit with switches mounted on the console, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Flaming River tilt steering column, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, and black leather Procar Rally bucket seats with matching rear seat!
A GM Performance Parts ”Connect & Cruise” crate powertrain system was purchased and installed during the restoration, consisting of a 430hp 6.2L LS3 crate engine, engine management system (ECU, performance LS3 controller with harness and airflow meter), 4L65E overdrive automatic transmission, and SuperMatic Transmission Control System.
It has a smoothed and painted firewall, painted engine covers, a Vintage Air SureFit air conditioning system, and a Vintage Air LS Chevy Front Runner Engine Drive System that includes: CNC machined billet truss-type mounting bracket, high performance water pump, Delphi-saginaw power steering pump, 140 amp alternator, optimized ratio aluminum pulleys, ATI harmonic balancer, ARP polished stainless hardware, Dayco serpentine belt and OEM tensioner, compressor clutch and tensioner covers.
It also has a built 9” rear end with 3.73 gears, Flaming River power rack and pinion cradle kit, Flaming River double adjustable coil-over shocks and springs, QA1 tubular upper and lower control arms, The Right Stuff master cylinder and booster assemblies, new brake lines, 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, Hotchkis weld-on subframe connectors, and 3” drop leaf springs.
Additional goodies include: Painless wiring harness, ceramic coated Hooker Super Competition long tube headers, Pypes Street Pro exhaust, BMR trans crossmember with Energy suspension trans mount, Energy suspension LS1 Engine adapter kit, Detroit Speed Selecta-Speed windshield wiper Kit, C&R aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, custom aluminum driveshaft, new polished fuel tank, Optima battery hidden in trunk with shut off switch, tinted windows, Anvil Auto LED headlights with Halo’s and turn signals, and 4.5” LED driving lights with halo’s and turn signals.
Custom audio system with a JVC head unit, JL Audio 6.5” speakers in the door panels, JL Audio 6x9” coax speakers in rear deck, JL Audio 700W 5 ch. amp, and a JL Audio 10W3 subwoofer in custom trunk enclosure.
Sitting on a set of custom black with polished lip, staggered 18”/19” Rushforth wheels wrapped in Bridgestone 255/35/18 tires in front and 275/35/19 in back.
